Awww wth, I was really liking this one.. It had that cool mix of military + nobility politics + fantasy. I think only other one that comes to mind is Tensei Shitara Heishi Datta?! - Akai Shinigami to Yobareta Otoko, but that one doesn't really feature military in the same way and is generally more lighthearted in comparison. Sad to see this one go

Thanks for finishing up the series.
Seems the princess is just as fucked as our red reaper because she seems completely ok with having watched her husband torture her brother to death lmao. Having the finale be from the perspective of Pii-chan was cute too but its a shame we won't be getting more of the series with real translations lmao.

In terms of pacing and feel this gives off more of a fanfiction/self-insert vibe if that makes any sense (fast rank-ups, plot armor, quirky (low presence), hyper-speed pacing, unique pet). I still enjoyed it though because I have a weakness for cute and loyal psychos (especially that smile he gave after sentencing his brothers to stoning in ch 8 pg 28) and a more realistic plot take without going full on Wolfsmund (that's just gore-porn at that point).

Def not for everyone but a story I like to re-visit every year or so.
