Stumbled upon this series, because it updated. Being the first serialized work makes sense. The art is solid, but the pacing is too rushed, and the page composition is a bit of a mess so following along isn't the easiest. Still easier than Fire Punch, and the author is getting better.

Not sure what I'm going to expect out of this series, but I do appreciate fuzzy dragons.

Honestly, for me it's better to TL the pun as is then leave TL note after explaining the pun or if you insist to substituted it, adding TL note about what the original pun is and the explanation about it will be great.

Also on page 3 panel 4 "wait, won't it be lonely in mana village without ebi?" the "it" refers to what / who? if refers to ikuto, wouldn't it better to use "you" instead? cmiiw. Anyways thanks for the TL as always.
