There's also the issue with how loosey-goosey the author has been with time skips; a year here, a month there. And that's because, regardless of their ages then, it was also literally the first time they met was at the conbini -- and now all the actual relationship development time & moments sadly get skipped over...

as I recall, for as far as the wn has been translated, there has been no sign of them and they've been off doing other shit.
