The proportions of their bodies are worse when you also consider that Clarice is canonically 11 years old in this chapter.

don't remember if the manga explicitly explains it but having holy magic, aswell as Ellie's golden lion bloodline thing, makes them grow faster. So, the point IS that their height and body proportions despite their age gives it away.

Must it be the art? Or maybe the pacing? Is it the adaptation's fault? or is it endemic to the source material?

so, i just bulk-read all the chapters. back when they were still 7 years old. it's explained that Holy magic users grow/develop their bodies faster. Hence her boobs being bigger than the average for her Age, equal, POSSIBLY Holy magic user. and even MC is like almost twice as bulky as the other boys around him.

Your luck stat matters when you open chests. The MC's luck is 30. No one else is close.. And no, it never goes up.
