Every now and then in this side story, I get jarred by seeing how trusted the two previous kings are (2nd the last panel in the last page). Youm is taking off for Tempest w/ Edward, and Edmaris is being left in charge. I know all the reasons (HA! like they would even think of rebelling, Diablo even being mentioned would cause them to crap themselves), it's just jarring sometimes that they aren't like 'retired' to an estate away from the capital, and instead trusted advisors (esp Edward).
