I'm always amazed at stories that force all the characters to just stand around and watch something happen, what could possibly go wrong if you let the orc lord devour a great demon? Sigh...

I think it's entirely possible for them to stand around and watch. number one, they don't know he'll turn into a demon lord. even mc was like wtf? number 2, this is basically a car crash you can't look away from. if I saw a big pig man chomping down on some poor sap whose head was just cut off I'll probably be frozen in place too.
