A properly thought out one? Very. Even the Potterverse magic system makes no sense and has multiple inconsistencies within its own internal logic.
Wait, you actually consider harry potter an example of a good magic system? Harry potter's? Arguably the most infamous fictional magic system to ever have been written? :wtf:

Not a good magic system, but a popular story nonetheless that some argue is well thought out, pointing to Snape as an example.

Ars Magica, on the other hand, has a fantastic magic system, but that's a tabletop RPG.

lol i wonder how the ppl of this world would react to a name like that ,but if you make enough money after a certain point you'd stop caring lol

Or it's how another reborn/reincarnator finds out other ppl are 'like them' in that word using such a blatant term since i imagine it's the JP equivalent to "Shell Company"
Oh there are lots of fun foreign company names.

Volkswagen = people's car (company was started by Adolf Hitler's decree to build a car everyone could afford)
Lego = play well (contraction of Danish leg godt)
Nikon = Japan Optical (contraction of Nihon Kogaku)
PEZ = peppermint (contraction of German Pfefferminz)
Subaru = Pleiades (the constellation - look carefully at their logo to see the stars)
Volvo = Latin for to roll (it was originally a subsidiary of a ball bearing company)
The Los Angeles Angels = The The Angels Angels

So "paper dummy" in a foreign language isn't that bad. It just sounds bad in the native language. The vernacular English would probably be closer to "paper entity". Though you're right, "shell company" probably would've been better.

I wouldn't be surprised if they wrote what they liked, versus some serious passionate amateur author having a "How to set up basic world building, write realistic charas, etc" (tho it would be amusing if books like that had some obvious cliches/general advice that didn't help that much more unless you're like a middle schooler, but you still pay like 40 bucks for it)
Yeah. I'm all into fleshing out your fictional universe with logical rules and systems. But this story is so lighthearted, I don't mind the author hand-waving the parts he doesn't know like cooking or magic. If the story gains popularity and he gets a bigger budget, I'm sure the publisher will assign a researcher to help him with this stuff.

Would be funny if they make everyone take a sip from an MP Potion/Elixir before taking the test or something. (would be too explensive tho... or maybe they just sell the potion as a fee, lol)
My battery charger measures capacity by first draining the battery, then measuring how much energy it absorbs until fully charged.

But I think it'll probably be simpler. Like she'll end up having to go last out of a huge line of children being tested. And her mana will be fully regenerated by then.
