Didn't the 'crushed nuts' dude just run some hole in the wall rundown restaurant? How could he afford, and have connections to, criminal gangs?
Meanwhile MC's family runs a bigger restaurant/hotel, with renowned food, and they're still just above the poverty line. :thonk:

We all criticized her last section for playing around too much, but it's clear now she never needed to fear these guys. Unlimited Spider Works is pretty frightening.

Kind of hope that's the last "evil villain" we get that's isn't at least connected to nobility. Like what normal criminal will attack a place crawling with adventurers like that?
Also you'd think with how protective the grandfather is, he would have investigated anyone who might harm his daughter and seen this Orc shaped human has been harassing them.

I get the feeling he always been connected criminal underground, his place is probably more of a face (cover) for the local gangs, he runs it with slave labor, strong arming competitors. He doesn't realize the inn has connections to the merchant guild higher ups (as until recently the in was also a hole in the ground with little to no customers)

the MC family's inn was not doing well until the MC started helping out with magic cleaning and new recipes (base on dishes from he past life)

Double-heeled ballcrusher.... Yeeeeessss.... she definitely needed that Soundproofing. The scream would've deafened the local bats... 😖

I think you're thinking about that backwards, the guy was so crooked, he had illegal slave labor and connections to criminal gangs, letting him run a hole in the wall restaurant that up until recently was outperforming the MC's family run business.

Always good whem you find a new cool manga to binge. I wish her family had a little more presence as i like the vibe and looks of Joe and Marissa a lot, in those "slow life" isekais everybody is just doing whatever the main character tells most of the time having no personal arcs or objectives for themselves. I also wished the authors could research about food and tech a little more, humans have beem baking fruits in ovens and fires, frying meats, pies and doughs since old Babylonian times, it wasn't "every day" food or that acessible of course, but you get it.
Anyway, Millie is an fun protagonist and i think the series has a lot of heart, let's hope it keeps improving as i'm sure gonna keep on reading.

Thanks for the translations!
