I'm not picky, but I couldn't make it past a few chapter. Not only is it the tired trope of "Japanese food is best! Even in medieval european setting!", but the author has no clue how to properly cook said japanese food.

This is exactly what I want out of isekai.
Good / decent art, MCs who prosper in their environment, happy people around, etc. Not necessarily slice of life, but a story where a person can thrive.

Sadly, it seems like the author really wants to shove some unnecessary drama in there, and badly written one, at that. For shame.

you are supposed to go autopilot and completely ignore anything food/japanese related lol.
also I hate when the translation has caught up to the raws >_>
