Considering the spirits have offered to level cities, split islands in twain, and more? I imagine they'd be more than happy to play carrier pigeon for him if he asked nicely lol
In general, they can't do it over long distance. Spirits have very weak individuality (or simple-minded) coz the burden of memories reduce their ability to wield power of nature. Giving them a complex instruction and they'll forget it soon enough. The exception is when they have a strong fixation on something during their high elf's lifetime such as the spirit of Salyx coming to check on his rascal grandson later, but anyway nobody would get obsessed with mail service.

but i am worried about his halfelf son to wait so long for him to show up. :worry:
Wynn specifically didn't want him to come though. The boy understood that his dad's power shouldn't be used for something as triffling as the scuffle among mortals, so he always writes in his letters that everything is fine. Only when the problem turns out to be immortal that he'll ask Acer for help.

To the void:
I really stopped caring about how the MC monologues sadly to himself, how he just looks away for a second and suddenly his friends are dead / super old and fragile, oh woe be he, the immortal...

Just....Get over yourself, man. Stop travelling for 20 years by foot, if you care so much. Invest in proper transportation, get medicine to stop your motion sickness, or stop giving a shit about how you're restricted to travelling 20~30 km per day, because you're stuck walking on-foot.
Get a mount dragon, a horse, invent shock absrobers, do something, anything, but just stop bitching at how "because I travel so much, the people I know die off....Oh I am so sad..."
Stop it. It genuinely just comes across as a man with heavy ADHD / autism, who is so self-absorbed by his own hobbies, that he's SHOCKED when people around him are unhappy with their relationship (but to him it seems fine, right? Until it isn't OK, and then he doesn't understand why his relationships fall apart.)

Just wanted to say I really like how this series handles the passage of time for an immortal. Most other series deal with in a very different way. Even in Frieren, the way it's handled is different from here. Here we see the actual passage of time for Aesir, and how Aesir handles that cruel passage, and how he himself changes his thinking and how he views the world. His life as a whole is a mixture of being normal, everyday life mixed with stuff "out of a hero's legend". The important of the relatively mundane events and characters doesn't change though, and maintaning that balance has been pretty well

I honestly find it pretty depressing overall, everything in the writing gives me existential dread. But still, I like it neverthless. Many other anime series approach the immortality and the passage of time, but only a few do it by being so direct about it, with a great number of sort of time skips

3 days became 6 months... Man his way of seeing the passage of time is skewed up.
To him, Its probably not that different from 3 mins to say 6 hours delay for normal human.

High Elves in this series live for over 1000 years in their physical body, after which they discard their body and become Spirits (because unlike other races, High Elves are Immortal).

Elves on the other hand are not immortal and die, with a lifespan of around 700 years.
