They grow up so fast... Why am I tearing up, dammit?
"We still need to get to Muralo."If he and frieren were on a journey together, a 10 year trip would probably take 500 at least.
Same. Sometimes it takes me a while to read a new chapter because there's a good chance it's going to make me tear up.They grow up so fast... Why am I tearing up, dammit?

I do feel like he has grown in his emotional capacity for his lifespan compared to those he interacts with over timeThat look on his face when he said if they do get married, he probably won't be around to see it...

Aesir may seem like a wise observer, but by distributing weapons, techniques, and knowledge, he’s functionally as a long-lived war industrialist. The morality of the nations he helps doesn’t change the fact that he’s enabling power, shaping wars, and tipping balances-making him not so different from Lockheed or any other arms facilitator in real life. Sure, there are supenatural entities but it was part of the natural order BUT the moment a "HIGH ELF" jumped in..that tipped the scale heavily towards one side. There is a reason why his ancestors didn't want anyone to roam the world.Something I appreciate about this guy is how he isn't judgmental in the slightest. He hates the effects of war, but he understands that there is motive behind each action. It may not be pleasant, but all such things are a part of life. That's a sign of wisdom, right there.
Honestly, this, I wish he and Frieren could meet 🥲If he and frieren were on a journey together, a 10 year trip would probably take 500 at least.
That's why you always see him question if he should help though. He recognizes his power can change the tune of any war, but you don't see him running around to every country, do you?Aesir may seem like a wise observer, but by distributing weapons, techniques, and knowledge, he’s functionally as a long-lived war industrialist. Feels more like MCU Tony Stark after finding out that Stark Industries has been selling to anyone with a bank account.Aesir may seem like a wise observer, but by distributing weapons, techniques, and knowledge, he’s functionally as a long-lived war industrialist.
