I just got done with chapter 22...many manga have brought me close to tears because of how well shit like this was handled but by god if I said everything with Kaeha doesn't have me crying I would be a damn liar. I know we have stuff like Freiren to see time from her perspective but this story gives you a real look into why something akin to immortality is more of a curse than anything else. Great manga but god damn, people need to stop cutting onions.

This series is a gem!

Honestly, as a fan of Frieren, I feel like this series captures the essence of what makes an elf even better. The story is amazing! And I hope that a high end studio, like Trigger, could one day pick this story up as an animation as well! :)

I caught up with the latest chapter 45. I wanna say that finding this story is a blessing. Abundant learning and realization. It's a bitter-sweet slice of life that made me cry every chapter. Even though, I hate it when authors made too much time skips but in this one, it is understandable and educational. The sadness is very heart whelming but the experience of Aiser was eye opening. It's the price of being an immortal.

Man caught up to chapter 46 and i have to say this was really smth , after like chapter 17-18 the manga really became heavy , i mean it got to the point that at the end of every chapter i was tearing. The manga definetly lives up to its name . The characters don't usually appear for a long time but the small amount of time they do appear ,you really get emotionally attached to them , and years later when mc returns and they are gone it feels heavy.

Ts is peak ✋️😭🤚

Why Al G. O'Rhythm doesn't include Frieren in the recommendations section is beyond me. This is a magnificent bookend to that other masterwork.
