@Kireato The shading on the imprint makes it look like an actual indent,
not just a mark. I don't know about you, but I have a
very pudgy face yet my forehead only has pretty much skin over my skull. Meaning an indent like that would necessitate my
skull being deformed. That, coupled with the fact that children by nature have softer skeletons, means it's very likely Al suffered actual brain damage. Since her grip strength is enough to cause
that much harm on a large spherical object, something that is
very hard to do with just your hand, coupled with
this, means that, yeah, she has inhuman capabilities. At least by
our standards. All while she's still a child.
Have you ever been seriously hurt, or had the wind knocked out of you completely? Shock is a hell of an anaesthetic, meaning it's very likely he didn't actually
feel the pain his
body was experiencing. And then he promptly passed out, which is a normal response to huge amounts of pain. Go figure. About him being a little shit to his parents; that's just being a kid.
All children are assholes, it's part of the learning process. Mess up, get corrected, and learn from it.
Not get fucking knocked the hell out by your father. I don't see how Elenora can be excused with "just kids being kids", yet Al can't?
He's six years old (at least from their perspective).
Edit: I checked again, and
Al mentions he actually suffered a concussion. So yeah, dad got pissed off and caused
actual physical harm to his six-year-old kid. Great parenting.
Yeah, the mother trusted her husband enough to not even be concerned about her unconscious kid. If
my kid fell unconscious after a hit like that, I'd stay with them until they woke up. And maybe her laughing wasn't mean spirited, to her. But what would that teach a
normal child? That their suffering is great fun, meaning his mother doesn't even care
slightly about his well-being. She may have found it funny, but she's a fucking mother; she should know better than to laugh, and to show at least a little bit of concern.
You're entitled to your opinion, and I'm happy you enjoy it. But since you don't see how people can find actual abuse horrible just because "this is fictional slapstick comedy", I don't want anything to do with you. I intensely disagree with your personal belief, so I won't read any further replies. Enjoy your manga!
