maybe we actually get another kidnapping arc after they reach it and the guy realizes she might have seen his face

edit: I have no clue what actually happens since I have not read the raws nor any source material so its just a guess taking into account the things from last chapter

The one who kidnapped her is a prince, true, but not Wester prince like Hugh. He's from one of the other countries (Easter, I think, it's been a few years since I last read the novel). The gold eyes were marks for the royalty of the country of the guy who originally orchestrated the kidnapping.
