She's finally won.

Natsuo has always been "The Best" but now that she's lost to someone who's basically the living embodiment of "Hard Work" she can basically abandon and prove wrong everything her brother tried to blame her for.

She doesn't have everything because she worked so hard and still lost in the end.

She can basically live her life without the guilt her brother tried to pin on her.

It's kind of freeing in a way to realize your talent doesn't mean shit. You can still feel the joy of struggle, of self-improvement, of growth.... I mean if you think about it, people don't enjoy being the best as much at they do getting better.

That being said, I still can't tell if this manga has amazing writing or is just pretentious garbage.

I mean, the girl realized that ages ago, it's just she can't manage to tell her loved ones that they're all wrong about her and that she's a wonderful girl. She invited her brother for just that.

Didn't you notice she never fought to win? She fought to lose sometimes to keep herself motivated, but most of the time she never cared about winning, only improving towards her goal and learning from her opponents.
She's very aware that she's talented and she came to hate that, partly because of her brother, and after giving it her all and still losing, she feels liberated, more so when it's in front of him in these circumstances.
