So, as someone who doesn't usually read manhwa (i dislike this endless scrolling format) I have a question.

Would it be possible for someone to shed some light on the naming conventions for me? Choi Haeseon, Lim Sunho (or whatever transcription of names is used), first family name, last given name. In one of the manhwa's early chapter the address of Haeseon outside of work is made a minor deal of, but then this gets ignored or dismissed in the later chapters, Haeseon is constantly simply addressed without honorifics. Is this nuance left untranslated, since its cultural context cannot really be translated? Since as is it confused me that Sunho constantly referred to Haeseon as Haeseon, not Ms Haeseon or Ms Choi.
Furthermore, is it common to address a person with their given name and honorifics? I know it was common in British society, as something of a formal thing, but nowadays it's much less so. Would the translation convention not be better served if Haeseon and Sunho would address each other as Ms Choi and Mr Lim in work context, and by their given name outside of it?
I'm honestly curious, is all I'm saying.

Hi, ok so I'm not sure which version of this manhwa you read, but for my group's version (O Translations) she is constantly addressed as "Ms. Haeseon". The only time she isn't referred to as "Ms" is when her name is brought up during thought/thinking bubbles. This is a decision me and the team decided on cuz in English most ppl dont rlly use honorifics when thinking about a person. I recommend reading our version as we considered the localization of the language rather than just a direct 1:1 Translation to make it not so confusing for the readers. Now for your other question. Using the given name + honorifics is common in korea kind of like how in manga ppl use Name-san/kun/chan/etc. In this manhwa the characters' used -nim which is commonly used in korean workplaces but for localization purposes we decided to use ms. or just no honorifics at all since most people in workplaces in english speaking countries usually only use ms./mr. on teachers and such but since Sunho has a more timid personality we decided to let him use "Ms." and the reason why Anna refers to Haeseon as Ms. is cuz she's her superior and we wanted to have that "boss feel" maintained same also applies for sunho. Sometimes they use -ssi which is polite but not as formal as Ms. or Mr. which just doesn't fit. You're definitely not alone on this one. Like, I generally don't mind bland mcs, who's trait is "hurr durr i'm shy", but that fucking stunt with Anna's gift instantly killed off any resemblance of willingness to root for him. I guess I'm kinda glad TL has caught up to raws cause I'd definitely let this marinate for half a year or so just to forget ts

Thank you for the translation! I don't really like the MC or the FMC, as people have already said the desert stuff was a real asshole move and I feel like the FMC is just non-stop making him work overtime and is a bit of a bland character who has no real personality outside of work and the MC likes her.
