I'm assuming what was translated as "It's abnormal!" on pg 13 was something like 「いじょう！」.
I think that it was probably meant to be 以上 (done, the end) and not 異常 (abnormal), so he's listing out what to do, and after the last step just says "And you're done!" or something to that effect.
