@Hootanic
Takako probably. At least some one from their family, because why other way he would be with them after almost 6-7 years passed.

What's with that thank you bullshit? are you telling me that after I don't know how many years working his ass off, getting cancer in the process, comes home only to find his daughters viciously raped, not getting justice, losing his job, rescuing his horny younger daughter from the same thugs that invade their home, being the only one making the effort to keep the family together while at the same time throughout the story putting all the blame on him for "abandoning" his family... and in the end are you telling me that the thankful has to be him? give me a break. Or rather give HIM a break, may as well he would've abandoned his family for real.

My favorite part was when the mother still had the nerve to take the family money because "I worked my hardest to keep our home safe". Bitch, your daughters were raped in front of you wdym.

But the most painful to read parts were with the younger one, of course. That bitchy attitude was never questioned, quite the opposite in fact. It stopped being her coping mechanism to become her whole personality. It's a mystery to me how that character can win the sympathy of anyone.

It definitely can work as a critique of the industrial society and its future. If only that little community wouldn't have been treated as a joke in the end. I guess it was inevitable if you want to deliver those juicy punchlines.

I swear, if not for the comedic tone this manga would be unbearable.

Edit: Ahh, who I'm kidding. I couldn't get this manga off my mind even if I want to. First-rate shock value, Highly recommended to all weeb fathers, if there is any.

Is that baby the bug is carrying the mcs? Plus how did he not get sent to juvenile prison for killing a dude?

I’m left with mixed feelings. Not a bad ending, but I read the whole story in a day so this just leaves me a bit... empty I guess. In the end it was just a sad story of a father trying his best to recover his family which he had lost touch, or maybe never even had touch with to begin. It’s melancholic to think that he wouldn’t be needed when everything would be better, but that he was also able to still see his family be happy in the end.

Quite a catharsis. I love how it ends, my familly is just like that: we loves each other but it is the best when we stay away from each others.
