Yeah. I remember that. They had to write Kase to be so oblivious, it went beyond what could be conceived as real. Really hope this author doesn't do the same thing to Xiao-Lu and Tongtong.

Pattern recognition. Colored hair generally means protagonist/deuteragonist/important side character. In romance comics this generally means rival. The two MCs are starting to stumble in a little bit of a rough patch, which is when usually a rival is introduced. Simple maths at that point really.

What's a little miscommunication between girlfriends?
Many of us are in denial, but I suspect Bai Dan is the new love rival. The chapter is named after her despite only appearing at the very end, she has purple hair, and her introduction was very deliberate in its paneling: focusing on the hand, two fingers extended with the "hey there". Maybe I'm reading too much into it but the hand panel gives me some certainty.
Normally not a fan of this type of plotline based on miscommunication but I trust Xian Jun to write this plotline in a more entertaining and less infuriating way than certain mangakas who have zero firsthand experience being in a lesbian relationship. Dearest Nemesis and the first season of Green Tea Bitch both subverted genre tropes in clever ways so I am cautiously optimistic.

Why are we assuming love triangle? Did I miss something? There's been nothing to indicate there's a third person interested in either one of the main couple.
People are assuming just because of Bai Yan's hair color? Seems a bit like jumping the gun to me.

That's just how it goes. I agree, though. There can't be a love triangle when 2 people are together and one person is unrequited anyway, so I'm not sure what the worry would be, even if she does end up crushing.
I'm just rooting for our girl getting the bite she so desires. It's all fun at the end of the day.

Oh I see what you mean. No, I was reacting to the end of chapter question. I think the TL showed a "triangle" with a question mark, as if to ask if we have a love triangle now. I was just responding to that. I never said she's into anyone. I said even if she is interested, that wouldn't be a love triangle anyway. Ohhhh I had to go back and look at the credits just now. My mind just disregarded those doodled letters as nothing, so I didn't see it at all.
Now things make a bit more sense that everyone was talking about a "love triangle" since the TLer primed everyone with that question.
