Out of curiosity, which six where you thinking of?

Like off the top of my head I can think of kinda 5ish broad motivations for domming:
1. Sadism, obviously.
2. Desire to nurture someone/maternal instinct (mommy)
3. Desire to gain control over someone (brat tamer)
4. Desire to exercise control over someone (mistress)
5. Desire to please a partner (service dommes, some findommes)
But all of them have a bunch of subtypes and hybrids. Like, pet ownership can very easily be a combination of 2, 3, and 4. Fortunately it never involves 1, because hurting animals is wrong. Meanwhile, people who are only interested in 3 are massive teases but definitely exist, and a sadist who wants to fuck with your head is quite different from a sadist who wants to kick you in the shins.
