Yamame and Usa-chan had a really sweet scene even if it did involve a double handful of isopods.

Unexpected bit about Meru's fairy-tale audience: besides "the kids" (basically the middle school first and second years plus Kusuri and Shizuka) and Kishika (for the punchline), plus Usa-chan because it's a crowd, it also includes Mei and Nano, our remedial fairy tale learners. I find it particularly sweet that Mei is listening; she was reading a fairy tale at the spa with Eira a few chapters back.
