Just imagine the amount of Voice Actors it would need if this gets an Adaption (which I have no doubt in my mind it wouldn't but one could dream).

They'll either use the big ones who have to do double/triple/quadruple duty like Elder Scrolls voice acting, but you know, actually good voice actors.Or multiple less known ones, which should be cheaper and a good opportunity for the VAs. Probably a mix of both.

I bet the most common archetypes like tsunderes would get someone big (heh) like Rie Kugimiya at least.

It's really funny just grabbing the latest chapter after a long break from this and counting this man's exploits. NGL kind of disappointed he is only in the twenties so far.

They do need some slice-of-life chapters between every new girlfriend, which does slow things down. And yeah, 100 Girlfriends has been kinda unfeasible from the start. A nightmare of art, writing, and pacing. Gawd, imagine drawing and writing for 100 characters when just a handful is hard enough! At least it's slightly made easier because of the romantic-comedy genre, and the creators going for common archetypes and gimmicks for the girls.

It's why some of us are just along for the ride to see if it's even gonna end properly. At its current pace it would still take at least 500 chapters before the 100th girl even arrives. I really don't see this series reaching 500 chapters. Even Ranma 1/2, THE romantic-action-comedy-harem, is only slightly above 400 chapters.

Then again, 100 Girlfriends literally has more characters to play around with compared to Ranma so who knows.

You know, this chapter kinda warms me up to Ahko. Hifumi even bothered to learn her name. Ahko was always mid-low tier for me. Now she has moved up to straight mid. Progress!

Wow ranma 1/2 would be the most massive romance manga in terms of chapters. But it's possible because the world setting is large enough to do so. Meanwhile rentarou and the school building is the limitation. I actually forgot about the curse detail

yeah it sucks that some people don't care for Hifumi but you can't please everyone I guess. In my case I don't really care for Yamame so I'm not one to argue about liking characters.

To be fair, and most long-time manga readers already know this, this chapter number can literally be called "hifumi" in Japanese. There was only one chance to take advantage of that coincidence and they took it.

While I personally really love this dorky autist, it's expected not everyone will like every gf with such variety of characters, some people don't even jam to such easy-to-like character like Shizuka,Ahko,Karane,Hahari,Momoha etc. Funnily Hifumi quickly got lots of fanart, I was reading 100gf on japanese jump+ and her intro chapter got more comments/reaction then even Momoha and Rin. It may come as the surprise, but gimmicky and quirky girlfriends always have fans and audience, uniqueness and weirdness is part of the appeal.

Man I would love to see Mika Pikazo draw Hifumi since Hifumi's design heavily reminded me of Mika Pikazo's style.
