And in only 550 chapters, at the current pace!
Well, we've been slowing down on that metric. Here, have some more of Suu's friends:

  • We got girlfriend 5, Kusuri, in chapter 10.
  • We got girlfriend 10, Mimimi, in chapter 39, 29 chapters after Kusuri.
  • We got girlfriend 15, Momiji, in chapter 69, 30 chapters after Mimimi.
  • We got girlfriend 20, Mai, in chapter 101, 32 chapters after Momiji.

And in the next 31 chapters, we've only advanced four girlfriends, in about the time we'd done five before.

Looking at the last three, the current average seems to be about 8 chapters per girlfriend. That'd mean 608 more for the remaining 76. Adding that to Eira's intro chapter, we get 740 chapters total. The "31-for-4" figure gives us 589 more chapters after Eira instead, making the total 721 instead.

In that case, the manga would have to run for 81 volumes, which would mean a run time of over 20 years.

Happy Birthday Meme and Kishika! Happy Late Birthday Chiyo and Momoha!

Also yeah it is strange that it’s only taken until now for us to get proper birthdays for everyone, we just kinda glossed over that until now. I mean it never really came up, but then again it came up this time during an introduction so… Who knows really.

Nice ass and thighs, can’t forget thighs. Giving Hahari, Hakari, and Momoha a run for their money with this one.

Iku, Yaku, Mimimi, and Kurumi all have birthdays that stem from their names (see Suu’s intro chapter).

Momoha has 10/8 because 108 earthly desires in Buddhism. Nano has 3/14 because of pi. Suu’s is 1/23 because numbers.

Naddy’s is 2/11 because that’s National Foundation Day, when Japan’s first Emperor supposedly ascended to the throne in February 11, 660 BCE.

The birthday problem states that assuming you pick random people, once you assemble a group of 23 people there is a 50% chance that two of them share the same birthday. There are 24 now, and indeed Meme and Kishika were born on the same day.

Edit: More.

As mentioned below, Rin (8/10 -> Ba/io) and Karane (9/9 -> "~nain dakara ne") also have birthday puns. They were changed in the translation for readability.

Mei’s birthday is May 10, which is apparently Maid Day in Japan. Mai is 9/6, Younger Sister’s Day. Kusuri is 4/18, Invention Day. Shizuka is 11/1, National Author’s Day.

Hahari’s birthday is May 12, which was Mother’s Day in 2019 (the year in which 100GFs started publication).
What about ahko ?

Huh — if I understand correctly, the way the Japanese school year works to make age groups is that you need to be a certain age before the first day of school, which is (usually) 1 April. (To take our first year high schoolers as an example, they'd all be 15 and turning 16 during the year.)

Rentarou is therefore the oldest of the first years, and Nano is actually the youngest.

(And Yaku's upcoming birthday is her 90th. Congratulations!)
