4. Just to recap. Hakari qnd Karane are not all a yuri ship. They're actually the result of several ongoing plot elements that the author has beening running since Arc 1 and expanded on post Kusuri fueled 'kissing zombie' arc.
A. As Karane and Hakari share the position of GF #1, they have naturally shared all their firsts....including their first kisses.
B. As Hakari is lewdness incarnate who lives for love, whose mind is filled with Rentarou, and who has--as noted above--Karane will inevitably be used as an outlet for whenever Rentarou isn't there, even if it's for 5 seconds and she needs some nooki.
C. This was, ironicalky, Rentarou's fault for 2 main reasons:
-> The above mentioned 3-way 'Sacred First Kiss'
-> The fact that he 'paired the spares' in order to avoid the 2 in their kiseing zombie state.
All of these things have created a kind of reinforced feedback loop that will guarantee that the only way Rentarou can sleep with those 2, is in a 3some.
Karane doesn't seek out Hakari, but is physically attracted to her in a manner similar to a trained reflex.... like when you ring a bell in front of a dog and it drools. Totally pavlovian.
Hakari's is more mental. She probably likes Karane, but isn't 'in love' with her. She doesn't actively seek her out and has only ever kissed Karane as means to vent.... only because Rentarou already made her cum but she hasn't had enough. That said, she's quite possessive w/ the ppl she likes. Karane is essentially a downgraded Rentarou for Hakari and basically plays the '2 G8rl Romantic Friendship' in a very harem kinda way that doesn't actually cross any lines as they're both madly in love with Rentarou at their cores and that Hakari will ultimately actively throw Karane under the bus if it means she gets her turn.... though, only in competitions w/him as the prize... otherwise, the OT3 status is the norm.

The Hakari and Karane dynamic has also allowed other inter-GF 'faux pairs' to develop for the sake of fetish trolling and that don't actually go anywhere and can only work bc Rentarou is their main lover. The plot premise on soul mates and its consequences actually weirdly ratiinalizes it since they'd be utterly miserable and unrelated otherwise.... or dead. Examples include:
Nano and Shizuka on the grounds of Shizuka's cuteness overrides Nano's brain, and that they are complete opposites.... on top of being a Kuudere and dandere.
Karane and Iku.... on the grounds that Iku is a major M, and that Karane is superhumanly strong and willing to use violence.
Mei and Hahari play on the Maid x Mistress tropes, but it's entirely sisterly and surface level on top of them being pretty professional about their own standing. It's kept entirely in check and akin to click bait.... on top of Hahari being a fetish pervert who lusts after cute things indiscriminately. Mei isn't cute. She's elegant and beautiful.... and an extreme doormat.
Mimimi and Nano play the one-sided rivals and frenemies card.... on top of both being stupidly hot and that Mimimi is actually both a tsundere variant and yet extremely prideful girl...which, unfortunately, gets translated into false narcissism.
6. The author is a goddamn trope screwing genius! And the artist captures those heart pounding kissing and lovey-dovey moments so damn perfectly!
