I don't think Rentarou would die, as he would still have 99 soulmates left. He'd have only lost 1% of his "fortune." But, yeah, if Rentarou somehow died, all of his unmet soulmates would die too. The ones he has met would probably be fine, though, just by looking at Hahari and (Future GF spoilers) Yaku, who both lost their previous soulmates presumably before / around when Rentarou was born, when they probably didn't have their second one yet. But if they did then I guess they'd still have half of their fortune left, so it's possible, I guess?

I'm like 99.99% sure Hahari said she did have a zing with Papari, and i'm like 75% sure Yaku also said she did. I could be wrong though.
