dont know why guild people want to find MC I guess they want him because he knows his shit or use him to get the best loot but he is private for good reason and even if they find him he going to say no and we going to have a guild vs MC world war

Really loving this series, both the art and the story (and translation!!). Really interested and tempted to read the novel bc I can't wait.

This is very, very good narratively, in those terms I'd rate it top 5 of all of the manga/manhwa I've read. Definitely picking this back up with the novel. Some of the more dramatic scenes don't hit very hard, but that's just the pacing, which is good. The concept is insanely good - the fact that he played this game for 17 years, he practically lived it rather than in the real world, which is reflected extremely well in his character. I'd say the biggest criticism I have, which is still relatively minor, is that I wish he struggled more in battles. Him and his shadows have not really ever taken much damage. His power level has been pretty hard to visualize, but that's just not the writer's focus, which is perfectly fine. In other cases you usually see some kind of scaled battle each time a character "powers up", but this doesn't really need that. The characters are amazing, every single one that's been introduced has had some depth to them and doesn't feel like some plot device. Overall, this is great.

After reading the novel up to ch 242, it gets a bit worse from here. It's still decent, but its a pretty continuous downtrend in quality. To start with, it's a very light novel. Descriptions of anything are few and far between and don't amount to more than a sentence or two at most. Given that there are no dialogue tags, many times it's a guessing game of who out of the scene of several characters is actually speaking. Relying almost entirely on dialogue makes it very hard to visualize the characters' expressions and actions. Similarly, the combat scenes lack quite a bit of impact and they feel extremely repetitive. This adaptation really carries this in that regard. I think the biggest problem I have is the bad guy -> good guy transitions feel really weird and out of place. I would give more details, but I don't want to spoil. Other than that, it's more smaller problems that gradually add up. Characterization gets worse, pacing gets worse, plot armor gets worse, there are more contrived events, etc.
