I've been wondering, how are the characters emoting in this game within the manga? In my head, it's a vtuber style face detection system.

You can see some of their setups in some of the previous chapters and it's normal computers with no cameras.

Some of it could be an in game emote system (like MAKOTO bowing) but usually it's just liberties taken so the reader/viewer doesn't have to see :| all the time lol.
