Yaknow, only since like last chapter did I find out that we're almost done with this... And man, THIS is where the plot is this close to the end???
No progress at all with the relationship, to the point where the knot needs to get forcibly tied by having the parents sell off their kid... Which will also lead to rape at this point.

I honestly feel bad for the MC.
Like, yeah he's shallow and caught up on appearances, but I think it's well within his rights to not want to be in a relationship with a psychopath stalker.
I definitely wouldn't want to date someone who was holding the life of every living thing in the planet hostage.
