This series was solidly fantastic. I was wondering how it would end, but having a dream of opening their own clinic (and inheriting equipment!) was pretty good. I appreciated the extra levity from the readers' letters as an epilogue, since it made it harder to feel sad about the story being over, and especially liked the one about Chobi looking like something out of a horror manga... they weren't wrong.

My guess is by the time grandma brought up the thing about Nikaidou/Hamuteru being imports inspectors to the duo, she had already gone around spreading it to others for at least a couple years (that is, until Kyohara gave her the clinic idea).

This was such a good story, all the characters were so amazing and I loved them all to bits. Reading the last omake, I admit I thought Hishinuma and that returning phd student would have a thing going but it's also funny that she's fated to solitude.
