Not sure about that yet, but it was already mentioned previously that there are zombies that has better vision than the others. So more of a variant rather than "evolve" for now.

i really like that the author is really establishing the characters' capability. The MC may be going in a phase where hes having self growth in the apocalypse, but that doesnt mean he suddenly super strong. The north korean dude is the one being the MVP as should be because hes the character holding the trait "capable". Rare writing these days.
