People who would want to hurt JinShi would be anyone that seems him as a threat right?
So what if it was his dad who I assume to be the current emperor was the one who wanted him dead? As he would be next in line if the current emperor was disposed of based on Jin Shis lineage. He would certainly have all the resources available to orchestrate something like this.
I can also see one of the royal concubines wanting to remove him and planting their own children to be the next emperor but none of them have eligible heirs for now 🙁
Also how would Sui Rei fit into all of this?
