Ah yes, the typical OI FL logic "I know the future ML falls in love with OG FL, clearly NOTHING I DO WILL CHANGE THAT"

She's already changed things (the chapter literally mentioned how different Graziano is from the in-game version) so there's no guarantee everything will follow the game.

Even this assassin incident isn't something she say is an event in the game (y'know, no "oh no, today is THAT day!?") she just realized that he's 'waiting' for something and once he started to move she pieces things together.

She jumped to protect a teenager that is able to destroy an entire mafia family on his own. A character that has three skills and two of them that are a mystery, the chance to get to know one of the other two was now and she blew it. A random mook throwing a knife has 0 chance over this power house of a character - and if he did, it would instantly remove most if not all problems that our FL has because as a reminder he kidnapped her and the time they were together would not be enough to have Stockholm syndrome either.
She's also acting out of character, if she was such a weak woman (which she showed she isn't) and cared that much about people in danger, she would have helped Graziano in the fight but she didn't. Graziano fought against actual guns, who is weaker than the ML.

Yeah, I'm thinking of dropping. There were a dozen ways to solve this without the Aldini guy getting hurt, and most of them would not involve a special ability or even speaking to him.

In the very first chapter, she's portrayed as someone prepared enough to carry around contracts, and yet her plan here was to jump in directly with witnesses everywhere. She refuses to reveal even a single piece to her own family, as if the risk of them moving independently is worse than what she's doing now.

Same. Can't stand Aldini, and I'm getting some serious "this is going to be the ML after he has some sort of redemption arc" vibes. He's just so completely unlikeable 😒

Well I see everyone were dissapointed by this chapter. And I agree. Maybe if some unexpected character that never appeared in the game suddenly attacked and instantly overwhelmed him, or maybe Fransesca felt something so so so dangerous she couldn't help but quickly took action, then I could accept what she did. But.... she took that action because there's ONE assassin with A KNIFE? Really?
But no matter what Aldini is still hot LOL. Hope next chapter the story will be better

I feel this would have been better of it was posted with the English title, more people actually read it with that.

I feel that Graziano's backstory introduction is pretty cool. You can see just how much Francesca has changed their life. They're no longer distant, they have a brother-sister relationship now!

Even though Leonardo does have a very dark background, it seems he doesn't want to act like that with Francesca. At least, usually. But now Francesca is forced to intervene and save his life, instead of trying to live the peaceful life she wants. Leonardo's definitely going to be much more interested in her now.

I like that all the game's chapters weren't released yet. It's a mobile game after all, you want people to keep playing the game. It's not a regular otome game.

By your logic that she shouldn't interfere with strong character, I guess you also think she didn't need to save Graziano back in the past either? He made it to the main story after all.

The idea that he has 3 skills is speculation that he'll be a 5 star (thus 3 skills) AFTER THE STORY FINISH, because the story at the time she got reincarnated hasn't revealed the other, if any.

And lastly even if he actually die, it doesn't guarantee everything will just turn into rainbow and happy ending because he isn't the only one plotting in the underworld.

Except during Graziano fight the narration also pointed out he was using his skill that make him fast enough to dodge bullet, so he wasn't in danger. There wasn't 2nd wave he had to deal with.

He's also part of the usable characters so she likely know his stat better than Aldini who's not usable at the time she died.

Would he survive the knife? Probably, but we've seen what she do just because she spotted poor people trying to rob a bank, if anything she'd be out of character to NOT try something.

Honestly I don't read these types of stories for the great plot, it's light and supposed to be fun. But this is just so boring, it's got every trope going. I would have for once actually liked the FMC actually go though with "defying fate" and not fall in love with edge personified MC and forge her own path.

It's pretty bad. The author basically kinda hinted her personality was supposed to be pretty smart, badass, mafia daughter. Yet, in this instance, she has 0 wis, 0 int to handle the situation. Other shoujo manga has the excuse that their fmc heads are filled with air and flowers. This one wasn't supposed to be, but acted like one. In text book fashion too.

Yeah a disappointing chapter. Want to portray her as someone smart and savvy then really dropped the ball. He didn't need saving this feels forced
