No, that is wrong. It is more of a Ji Bai's personality is sealed. He didn't die, since in the WN he returned
From what I heard, the part where he returns is only on the extra chapters that the author made after finishing the main story, so it's not really considered canon? But I could be wrong about it, since I never read the webnovel, and it's actually part of the main story and not just extras.
Bai Jin wasn't a personality but rather a persona, she was trying to do, and Ji Bai's consciousness was just sealed.

Though I hope they fixed this by making a LN and fixing every plotholes, make the fight longer and epic, be thorough about the Cosmo explanation, some people and skill will be there(especially those that are Forgotten(skills from chapter 100+ and Theta/Sita(daughter of Bai Ji)😭
Pretty sure the author is not touching the series anymore, since they already made other series after this one (one of them also being with a similar kind of style as this, like "loli" queen turning a guy/enemy into her "loli" princess daughter but dragon instead vampire). And yes, the author completely forgot about Theeta/Sita, she could've appeared so many times too...

at first i thought wtf
why FMC acting like its all over right after a big setup to defeat the big bad
but then it kinda makes sense for her to do this in a way
prolly dont want her friends to be hurt or killed
still weird pacing causes me to not follow sometimes

Was it not blood princess and the knight so where is the KNIGHT like is he dead, sealed or just asleep I feel like the author had a plan and then half way through though nah let's just make it a yuri so he got ride of the knight. Im so confused after the Gulan arc like why did you give him so much character development, like he understood that not all of the other species are bad and I think almost had a thing for that vampire chick in earlier chapters just for him to get erased like wtf was the point of like all of this author should change the name of this series to Blood Princess and surprise incest yuri goddamn the fall off of this series needs to be studied

Wait a minute... I think I just realized something. Heh, that's clever. So originally the title "Blood Princess and Knight" referred to Bai Ji and Ji Bai, the two warring sides of the protagonist, who had different values and goals.

But then the two of them became One. A lot of people seem to still be confused about that, but it seems pretty obvious to me that the fragmented psyche finally snapped back together, and it resulted in the form and personality of Bai Ji being mostly dominant, because that is ultimately who she was, who she became when she was reborn as a vampire, complete with a second childhood.

The Ji Bai personality being a bit of self-delusion, a claim made in denial that they're still the human they used to be. But once the honorable and empathetic knight rejoined the bratty princess, not only has she physically become more adult, but has displayed more emotional maturity and a strong code of ethics and morals, indicative of the sides of herself that she shaved away and personified seperately to maintain this sharp dissociative divide.

But this does present a problem of sorts, the title is no longer accurate if there is not a Blood Princess AND a Knight, and that's where the deal with the spirit of St Lun came in, to inherit her power as a holy knight, and eventually realize a knightess form in her image... but this too passed.

Once the St Lun Inheritor form died, some of the lingering questions about it became moot... but in this newest arc we're seeing a knightess with an extremely similar design to St Lun that Bai Ji is now teaming up with, a blood princess and a knight again, fighting side by side, since this mystery individual pretty clearly has some kind of ties to St Lun as well, it seems likely that some of the loose threads from that particular plotline will be picked up again now.

So in short, people reading this series who are angy about Ji Bai no longer being in play? Wanting "him" to come back? Far as I can tell, he was always a phantasm, a temporary coping mechanism, a construct of the person the now empress used to be. Might need to accept that the same way she did.

...not only has she physically become more adult...
I guess that's just because of the artstyle change, based on how they drew Solanya in this recent chapter (401). (Unless that was supposed to be Bai Ji wearing Solanya's clothes)

I think that is meant to be Bai Ji wearing Royal Blood Spirit attire of the Old Empire style. It makes sense in narrative terms for the character to reminisce about a kind of Authority that they do have some claims to, between the ancestral ties, and possible semi-reincarnated status thanks to that blood pool essence absorbtion and the magic cards.
