Yeah... And it's only downhill from here, according to history... One of the risks to put children in positions of power because of tradition, I guess.

I think it's worth mentioning that historically, Hatshepsut's heir tried to erase the memories of her time as pharaoh...
That has been discredited by modern egyptologists, that date the deletion of her symbols at the time of the next generation succession, as a means to avoid unwanted claims to the throne from other relatives of Hatshepsut.
