Interesting setup so far, especially coming from someone who has little experience with Shogi. Gonna have to concur w/ xyzzy and appreciate that our vampire lead is the uncommon "lower class dude that's unable to hold a job down due to circumstances" type.

Seems like there's four volumes overall so I'm hoping it goes up from here
