Hahaha...well, that's kinda unexpected. At the same time, it feels very grounded with what may happened in RL that... somehow I can relate a bit with Ouka.

Please don't take Rei away she's actually one of my favorites in this series!

So literally we are back to eleven candidates, or a harem pool. Sigh. Have the moral fibre to cut one or more because it makes for compelling plot, mangaka.
We know in the flash forward the girl's mother is one of the original girls. Assuming she is his biological daughter, it means he had a relationship with at least one of the girls.

I actually expected to be more "meh" about this but this still managed to be a good chapter: pace is still relatively high, like "ok she was gone for a while let's get this shit going", and funny overall especially those glasses. And man, that thumbs up Ouka in the sky is hilarious no matter how many times I see it.

I do think it was a nice touch to actually make her fail to get her to come back. It's a good opportunity for character growth.
I think the character growth was the important thing here. She was a tad arrogant before. Now she has failed pretty badly. I have a feeling she hasn't told her family about it yet.

Even though she sees herself as a failure she is being welcomed back to familia with open arms.

I wonder if she'll be a lot more considerate now. Well she probably will be till it gets on Hayato's nerves and he rips her a new one to get the sarcastic, oppininated gir he loves back to normal.

Last time Seo cut an FMC out of a manga everyone kicked up a nuclear stink, so...

Jkjk, Fuuka is probably my favourite manga ever

Expected something big for chapter 100?

Nah, Seo says character development instead and back to the chaotic status quo :pepela:

She'll probably stay for a while, since she already got the job and all that. Still, isn't this cafe becoming overstaffed?

Seo tends to make heroines to leave for a while ... happened in Kimi, happened in Suzuka and happened here.

Fuuka was just stupid, he actually did have a heroine rejecting the male lead in Suzuka when Suzuka was overseas with nobody making drama, if he say killed Suzuka the reaction would be simular ... besides he just Isekai Fuuka for the shock value with no idea were to go next and it shown.

I know lots of (most?) people think that way about Fuuka, but I personally only started reading Seo's manga whilst Hitman was publishing. On top of that, I've been involved with music my entire life. So being able to binge read the manga greatly improved my experience, as I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much reading it weekly. And having been surrounded by music forever made even the insignificant moments in the manga feel like I was back home.

Obviously this comes down to my personal experiences matching Fuuka's tone almost perfectly, and I can't blame anyone who isn't in the same boat. I honestly think how Eba left in Kimi is exponentially more egregious than how Fuuka left, but that's coming from someone who loves Fuuka and is just a little biased.

Either way, I hope we can agree that how Ouka left and just returned is the best that Seo's done out of this, Suzuka, KNIM and Fuuka. I don't really count Hitman. It feels like the black sheep of the family, and it's the MC who leaves anyway.
