I find this one interesting due to the comparison of Medusa and Izanami as earth goddesses. I feel that connection was far less connected than the Minotaur and and the Ox-Drawer story back in chapter 7.
The thing that stuck out to me was the similarities of the Izanagi underworld story with the Orpheus story. I wonder how far the Greek influence went to Japan considering the supposed dates that are referenced by this manga.
