Maybe this was the universe's messed up way of making her successful... encouraging her to become the CEO of her own company. And I'm all for creating your own success! Don't need to rely on a man! In all seriousness, I love this satire of all of those cringe "I fell in love with my boss/the CEO is obsessed with me/etc" stories. Power imbalance/ML abusing their rights as the FL's boss, much?
