the little icon on each chapter that presumably is supposed to show how many views/reads a chapter has had just says n/a, will that ever be fixed?

Views aren't publicly visible yet, it's not a bug.
It's on the priority list of features to add but it adds significant load to the site and we're currently trying to survive a massive growth in traffic so it's not the best time to try rolling this out.
