A bit confused - the protag says he took 6 months, but the rich guy said the water incident was "the other day".

I know the main twist is that the he let that guy completely dominate his daily life and thoughts for months, and the guy ended up not being as much of a dick as he made him out to be. But it'd be funny if the twist was that he hallucinated those 6 months of training.
