now i wanna try some hair milk but i can imagine the labeling being expensive versus a shampoo/conditioner that just says it restores quality, never had long hair/split ends but the one time i did dye/and dry out my side bangs, some coconut oil worked fine

If the friend really is also having an affair with Rei-kun, I just want to know what kind of rizz does this man have to be seducing all 3 of his wife's friends. That's peak scumbag behaviour.

He only has to be 'charming' for an hour and not act like a spoiled brat like he does with his wife, or it was a one time fling with the other woman when they were in college/before they got married

I don't think hair milk would be that uncommon but even if he didn't have an affair with her too maybe he chased after another woman similar to her

Oil and milk are used for different purposes. They can even be used concurrently if you got really badly damaged hair.

Generally, milk is for damaged hair or hair that's very prone to damage. It's meant specifically for hair repair. Oil is for preventing damage to your hair in the first place (particularly protecting from UV damage)

Both moisturize your hair as well, but oil is oil-based while milk is water-based.

Another reason to pick one or the other is the sheen/finish. Water-based moisturizers won't give an unnatural sheen while oil can make your hair glossier.

It all depends on what you're after.

Wasn't it implied there's multiple cheaters in the first chapter or am I remembering it all wrong.
She has all three of them in the room and is about to directly accuse one of them starting off with "I thought we were friends".

But it cuts off at "I know it was you, ____"

But contextually it feels like she'd only consider 1/3 of them still a real friend at the current point in the story so maybe it is Momoka in the hot seat. That would certainly carry a bigger sense of betrayal and anger than pointing the finger at someone she's thought was for sure the culprit for the better part of a year.

The milk inside a bag of hair milk inside the bag of hair milk.

Circular thoughts, just like what the author wanted for the protagonist and the readers (regardless of what's the truth).
