I find it a bit unbelievable that people would condone or be giddy about screwing over and killing NPCs in a game that are realistic to the point that they'd beg for their lives or curse you for ruining their world. Players would at the very least split and start defending them.

I mean, just look at the amount of dudes falling in love with our crappy AIs now, or treating them sentient currently, and I'm supposed to believe that actual life-like AI (that turn out to be real other worlders) wouldn't gain any sympathy? Bullshit.

Also:
"You should have played at your level"

This is like the most hokey, lame, 80's movie style thing the gangster could have said to him, as they murdered him over a stupid video game. I legitimately scoffed...
And why did they just stab him in the chest? Why not kill him immediately if you're going to? Did they just one time to drop their dumb one liner? lol.
