The main idea of The Creator is on Hiatus is interesting, I’ll give you that, but there are several aspects that make the plot frustrating. One of them is the excessive use of plot armor for the MC. For example, he starts to fight a god, and suddenly begins to surpass it in strength and power, even though just moments earlier he was struggling to even land a hit. This abrupt development harms the immersion and makes the character’s growth feel unconvincing.
Moreover, the story suffers from a lack of continuity. Many ideas and elements are introduced but are quickly abandoned without explanation. One example is the Gods' store from the game on his phone, which initially seemed to contain many powers, but later, the protagonist buys only a few, and the store is never mentioned again. Another frustrating aspect is the character who is introduced as "the savior of humanity" and the one capable of defeating the god of destruction, but this concept is simply discarded without any explanation.
Additionally, there's the subplot about the director's wife, who is in a deep coma. The protagonist offers to try and cure her, but this storyline also disappears without conclusion. It's a clear example of bad writing, where important elements are introduced but later forgotten without any resolution, leaving the audience dissatisfied.
These issues with cohesion and development make the work less engaging and hinder the full enjoyment of an idea that had great potential.
