There's nothing more to translate. The manga covered 1/3rd or so of the novels and ended pretty much exactly where the anime did. The novels have been on hiatus for years last I checked, so the series is essentially done for.

Was surprised that they covered 55 chapters in 1 season and I just now discovered that it really was just 55 chapters. The anime was so rushed and the animation was from power point. The story had the potential but people, along with author, seem screwed it

i can confirm it is indeed there, all 57 chapters, ended where the anime finished

Despite people saying this was a disaster, man I am going to deeply miss all the crazy facial expressions and daily hijinks this crew ran into. It was fun for a while, but you could tell things at the end began to lose cohesion as they were trying to rap up the story quicker.

Yeah, this was hilarious. I thought it was a good series. Funny as fuck, just some absolutely batshit crazy concepts ingrained in society, etc. I had a feeling it would actually be really nice to see them start adventuring with the mayohero from the empire. I also wanted to see the queen’s reaction to the foods he made at least once.

Oh well, such is the fate of axes. And it seems like it has no chance of a reboot like many other series, so now we rest.
