What are the chances we get to the confession and the kiss in this second season?

I come from the future, and I can say... the confession and cheek-kiss made it, since it covered four volumes, same as the first season, so we got all the way to the end of Volume 8.

If we get a third season, eventually, it'll most likely cover Volumes 9 through 12 (12 should be coming out this year, right?).

Confession is possible, but story pacing would be more relaxed if things stop just short of that whole field trip/Kimi Iro Octave arc.

I assume at the time you didn't know they were going to give us an extra episode so they had four total episodes to dedicate to Volume 8's adaptation.
