Also yknow what I like this manga and I like their interactions but 5 omake between EACH chapter is too much. Advance the damn plot.

I think it's because there's a lot of extras posted to twitter or such, based on the note on the credits page here. Most of them are out-of-canon, from what I've gathered, too, which is probably why many of them imply a more familiar, possibly borderline intimate, relationship between the main pair than the current main chapters have shown so far. Not to mention skipping around through holidays like they're nothing, probably because those were the real-world holidays and not in-manga events.

These 'Extra Edition' ones seem a bit more grounded in the current timeline, though. I could totally see current Yamada doing the cross-room cheek-rice teasing at this stage of their association/relationship.
