@Tamerlane @_i_is_weeaboo_ This manga's "progress" is all over the place, so not sure about the "gradient" thing, but anyway. I'd say first was Chapter 4, when he gave her his heroine drawing. She blushed and didn't want to share with her friends.

@CommieJohnTeh As someone whos binging, I can say Chapter 4 is the absolute first, if you're willing to accept receiving a picture and blushing as starting to have interest.
Also, it is NOT a progression. We go from that, to 0 progress, to her giving him a metric ton of choco in an Extra, to 0 progress again, to her yelling "Suki da" in front of the school (chocomint, probably just to tease him. Point is, she didn't care who heard), to her not being able to tell him "I was waiting for you" at the school gates, to her not being able to ask for his Line.
I mean, if you call one step forward and 70 steps backs progress, then by all means...

I like how realistic they act so friendly towards each other. that part where she shoulder bumped him as he helped her up was just how boys and girls who are friends act at that age. in most manga roms nowadays they act so distant and polite even though both the girl and boy are acknowledged as friends.

Also Hara-san saw all that. nice.

Yamada is slowly worming her way into Ichikawa's heart via her many idiosyncrasies, and he has no defense against any of them--especially since he already likes her.

The scene where Ichikawa can't say "Good night" is a continuation of extra chapter "Vol. 2, Ch. 28.1", where he can't say "Good morning" and "bye-bye" to Yamada.

Page 5 / 7, where Yamada says "the skin is definitely delicious" – it seems like this page might belong together with the scene where Yamada gave Ichikawa the leftover "Dashi" from her "Oden" in Vol. 2, Ch. 30.4 "A Soaked-in Feeling".

Can Anyone tell me the chapter she started having feels for him?

Hard to say. I think she actually started gaining a bit of interest in him after chapter 4 when he handed her the little drawing he did of her.

Chapter 11 is when she was happy to see him coincidently and sought to spend time with him (also a good way to avoid senpai)

Chapter 16 is when she starts actively trying too spend good time with him by riding on his bike and considering joining his club.

So I suppose that's the point where Yamada really starts taking the initiative to interact with him.

To be fair, this is an Extra chapter that might actually be set later on in the narrative, anyway, when they're even more comfortable than they are now. Maybe closer to the end of the school year or something, or into their senior year. I feel like all the 'numbered' Extras specifically are supposed to be in the future, at the very least, especially since those tended to have holidays the main story hasn't actually passed by yet. I think stuff like the 'Extra Edition' chapters and the volume-end Omakes are the ones that are more likely to have happened in tandem with current events.
