Yeah, it was nice in the anime. Suddenly thought of how Tsukasa from ToniKawa was described as a 'blush bomb' by the person that knew her the longest... This was a blush-nuke, complete with shockwave.
And yeah, both of the boys were having similar reactions to the other spending time with their girl. That lack of awareness on both their parts.
Kyo really needs to learn to be able to compliment Anna. She was clearly starving for the affection, here. That blush-nuke definitely helps, though. (I note some people mistakenly use the word 'complement', which means something rather different, even though it's spelt and sounds similar).
And, conversely, it seems like Kanzaki is maybe showering too much on Hara. There is such a thing as 'excessive'. Even with how gushing Sakuta, the titular Rascal from the Rascal Does Not Dream series, was, he only said he loved Mai once a day
until she finally conceded to go out with him, if I recall, and she still claimed it started to lose its impact as the agreed month came to an end (though she still clearly felt the love, so... ).
I really liked Kyo's speech about respecting the other person's desire to change (which obviously came from his own position on himself, and we note Anna has left him room to change himself within the confines of their association/relationship). Kanzaki had a good follow-up, too, which was wholesome appreciation of Hara as a person. Both had good points to bring forth, in any case, and glad things worked out by the end, there.
