in general, the stronger a demon the more he looks like a human.
What is this story about horns? a demon does not always have horns,
it depends on the religions and why the sacred texts would be right on the physics of the demons?

but I agree there is not much in this "prologue" it is to ask if the authors do not compete with those who shows the least, while normally they show too much to attract readers

It's interesting to reread this prologue after 372 chapters. It's funny, but in a bad way. "Merlin Lucifer" still sounds bad and it's amusing to see him say that to Alice, especially when your know what are their dynamics later.

So, to all new readers, don't give up. It's quite good, even with this prologue.
