I'm more annoyed at Diabel who seems to be the one manipulating her to be like this- whether it's because he's selfishly in love with her or something.
So I don't believe it's "fake edgyness", it's her putting a hard face in front of Diabel to make him think she isn't going soft.

It's so obvious Diabel is also fake edgy. The entire twist that he became a demon for her sake and that's why he gave his everything to someone else who's obviously also gonna be a demon is WAY too obvious.
